If you are someone who travels often and are in need of a travel-friendly, versatile eye shadow, I have just the palette for you. The eye shadow that I am referring to is the Naked2 Basics palette by Urban Decay.
This Palette comes with six different neutral shades. All of the shades are within the taupe family and they have a very matte finish. This eye shadow palette is great for obtaining a very neutral, professional look. It is great for both everyday wear and for business occasions.
Since these eye shadows are all so neutral, you can wear it with any outfit or for any occasion. They are also great for mixing with another eye shadow palette. I love using the color “cover” as a blending color with some of my other urban decay eye shadows. It is the perfect neutral matte taupe. These six shades alone have the potential to create both natural and smokey eye looks.
This palette is small enough to fit into the palm of your hand, which makes it great for traveling. The good thing is that even though it is small, the eye shadow sizes are still full-size and long lasting. The pigment on these shadows is great and they all blend very well together. This is definitely my go-to palette any time I travel.
Skimp: Pale nude with a light peachy undertone (Satin)
Stark: Nude with a pink undertone (Matte)
Frisk: Warm Nude with a gray undertone (Matte)
Cover: Taupe with a red-brown undertone (Matte)
Primal: Taupe with a true brown undertone (Matte)
Undone: Dark brown with a smoky undertone (Matte)
Skimp is the perfect color for the brown bone. Cover is my favorite color for the crease of the eyelid. Undone is perfect for the outer lid and lining the lower lash line.
