Pallet Projects are a cheap and easy way to create adorable holiday decor. A lot of the time you can find free pallets that people are either giving away or throwing away. The next time you see one, be sure to snatch it up!

Eventually, I am hoping to be able to create a pallet for every holiday. Last summer I created a patriotic pallet for the Fourth of July, and just recently I created another fall themed pallet. If you enjoy painting and creating DIY decor give this project a try! It is an easy way to add some fall decor to your home. Here are the supplies that you will need…
- Spray Paint
- Sample Size Paints
- Stencils (optional)
- Paint brushes
Spray paint the entire pallet with your desired base color. You can also use regular paint as well and roll it on. I like to use spray paint because it is quick and easy. I chose to make my entire base coat white.
Once the base color is completely dry, you can start to plan out your design. I used stencils to paint on my letters. However, I did do the pumpkin free hand. I have found that the easiest way to do anything free hand is to draw it out with a pencil first and then once you like how it looks, start to paint over it.
To add a little color to my pallet I simply stuck a couple bundles of fake flowers and leaves through the top slats. I purchased the flowers and leaves from my local dollar tree so they were super cheap!
Place your pallet on display wherever you please. I love to display these pallets on my front porch. They are perfect for tying together all of my holiday decor! I found the perfect Fall Pillow set to match the pallet as well. These were actually pillow covers, so I bought pillow inserts to fill them. This way I can buy new covers to change out for each season or holiday.
This is a second pallet that I made for the fall season. For this one I also used stencils for the letters and leaves. Then I used a hot glue gun to glue the flowers on to the top of the pallet. I spruced this one up with some fall mum planters. It looks super cute propped up out in my front yard.
I hope this gives you some inspiration for your own DIY pallet project. I hope you enjoy decorating your home this Fall season! Let me know how this project turns out for you. 🙂
