Hi, I’m Brooke!
I am the creator behind beautydecorandmore.com. I am a registered nurse by night and blogger by day. I have a true passion for beauty, design and DIY decor. I also have a love for health and fitness. I love nothing more than to inspire others to live a healthy, happy life (it must be the inner nurse coming out of me). 🙂 I decided to create this blog in order to share some of my ideas and my best tips and tricks with you!
I would call myself a beauty junky for sure. I basically have an undeniable addiction to Sephora. With that being said, I want to let you know about all of the great products that I have tried and hopefully you will love them too! There are so many different products out there, some better than others. I found that whenever I would go to buy a product, I would first search online to see what other people said about it. Some of the most useful information that I would find came from blogs. I love reading reviews and listening to what recommendations people have. There are so many different products that I have now tried and many of them that I love and use religiously. I would love nothing more than to share my advice and ideas with you.
I also love to design and create. Over the years, I have done so many of my own DIY projects and decorated so many different rooms and landscapes. My lovely boyfriend and I recently purchased a new home. I have had so much fun redesigning the house both inside and out. So I decided, why not share my ideas in the hopes that I can inspire some of you. Everyone has a creator inside of them just waiting to come out. Some of us just need a little inspiration!
Health & Fitness
One of my other passions is health and fitness. I love the concept of self-improvement in order to achieve an overall sense of well-being. I have learned that health not only pertains to how you look, but also how you feel and how comfortable you are in your own skin. Everyone is different, and different methods will work for different people. However, I do feel that it is more important for us to work on changing our lifestyle and state of mind, rather than hopping on the bandwagon of the next fad diet. In order to make a change with lasting results, you have to make a change that is sustainable. There are so many ways in which you can lead yourself to a life of health and wellbeing. I would like to share with you some of my own tip and tricks for living a healthier and happier life!
I also want to introduce to you my two children 😉 (with paws). My two loving and incredibly adorable fur-balls are named Scooter and Pumpkin. I am an animal lover and these two dogs bring so much happiness to my heart. They may be making a debut in some of my posts/pictures so I felt that it was important for them to be given a proper introduction. I also thought that you animal lovers out there would appreciate this as well. 🙂

Kyle is the other piece of my family. He is the most loving and supportive boyfriend and he brings so much happiness to my heart as well. Thank you Kyle for pushing me to start this blog, as it is something that I love and enjoy very much. I could not have done it without you!
